Paid plans are billed in advance and renew automatically each billing period until you cancel. Cancel anytime; you keep access through the end of the period you have paid for. Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.

Clear answers to the questions creators always ask.
Each calendar month, Builder lets you publish up to 3 new games to the Loregend Portal. The cap resets on the 1st of every month. Updating a game you’ve already published doesn’t count — only new publishes do. If you’re shipping more than 3 new games a month consistently, Studio gives you unlimited publishing.
Games on the free plan open with a brief splash crediting Loregend. It’s how we keep the free plan and the teacher plan sustainable. Builder and Studio downloads have no splash at all — the file you hand out is yours. Games played on the Portal always carry it, at every tier, because that is our own shopfront.
Yes — any time, from inside the editor. Yearly plans switch on renewal; monthly switches immediately. Your projects, assets, and portal publishes are never deleted when you downgrade — you just can’t add new ones beyond the lower tier’s caps until you upgrade again or free space.
A game of your own — 10 scenes, every puzzle type — and one publish to the Portal, so real players can play it. You build with the Castle, Space and Sewer art sets. You also get a finished escape game, Escape the Office, the moment you sign up, and it does not use up your project: open it, change anything, test it, keep it. It is the whole editor, not a demo of it. Builder is for the second game, your own art, and the downloadable file.
1,400+ images and sounds drawn from 20 years of real escape games, sorted into themes: Castle, Fortress, Space, Maze, Spooky, Egypt, Carnival, Jungle, Dojo, Forest, Office and more. Builder and Studio get all of them; the free plan builds with the Castle, Space and Sewer sets. Library art never counts toward your storage at any tier.
Start on the free account, then a classroom is $99 a year for you and up to 25 student seats, with classroom-safe content filtering. Teaching on your own, without student logins? Builder at $9.99 a month covers you. Student-created games are watermark-free and never ad-supported. See classrooms →
On the free plan, withdrawing your published game frees the slot for another. On Builder the cap is per month and counts by publish date, so withdrawing does not give the month back — it resets on the 1st. Studio has no cap. Existing publishes never expire and stay playable as long as you keep the account.
